Good as new

I've got an exciting update on my dishwasher situation. It just so happens that my parents had an extra one sitting in their kitchen. And the best part: my dad even hand delivered it AND installed it!

It works like a champ, and it's nearly silent, too! I think my dad was happy to have it gone and would have felt bad to have had to throw it out.

Win, win!

Dishwasher

It's always something, isn't it? Today it's that my dishwasher won't drain.
It's probably at least 20 years old.

Fireworks

We watched the fireworks last night from my backyard.

...And by we, I mean with my two pet deer.

(They might as well be my pets. They're totally unafraid of people, and they must think I planted this buffet for them.)
