Snow bunny

Yep, it snowed again last night. When I opened the garage door to start shoveling, I discovered this little bunny trail across my driveway. Well, at least I assume it was a bunny...

Flat Stanley

My sister-in-law teaches third grade. Her students are doing a project where they send a little cut-out man to friends and relatives and have them snap photos of his travels. They call him "Flat Stanley". We took Flat Stanley with us to downtown Chicago.

Down the Kennedy Expressway...

...at the Adler Planetarium...

...at the Shedd Aquarium...

...Soldier Field...

...the Field Museum...

...John Hancock Building...

...Navy Pier...

...and the "Whatchu talkin' 'bout" Willis Tower (formerly the Sears' Tower).

Thanks for coming to visit! I always love the company.

The gals

My mother and two aunts came for a visit this weekend.

Me, Aunt Peggy, Aunt Debbie, and Ma

We went to the Field Museum on Saturday.

Peggy, Ma and "Sue" the T-Rex.

After the museum we came back and drank two bottles of wine and watched movies.
Cheers!

Let it snow

Yes, yes. I'm still alive. I haven't been abducted by aliens. I've just been neglecting my blog. What can I say? It's winter. Nothing happens here in winter.

We had a big snow storm this week. When it was over, we had about 13 inches on the ground. I made good use of my shovel. Here's me proudly showing off my snow piles.

Bring it on, Mother Nature!!

On an unrelated note, is anyone else as disappointed in this season's "Lost" as I am?
